"It's a small world"

Yes,

we all know the song, the ride and the repetitiveness of this.... unique.... creation of music, but I happen to use the word a lot, why? because it's SO true.In this tiny world, we can find ourselves all connected through the grapevine in sometimes crazy cool situations, and sometimes really crazy "did this really just happen" situations.

here let me explain:

after receiving our awesome-super cool-fantastic-amazing-o.m.g. blue main gate cards to get into the parks, what do we do? we go to sleep, (YEA RIGHT) nooooo, we fly to the parks to hangout and celebrate our official cast member step to the Disney College Program in the parks!

after making our way to Epcot, and Magic Kingdom for the night we found our selves getting extremely tired, sweaty, hungry, and did I mention sweaty? we NOW wait for the next and final destination bus towards home from downtown Disney...

while waiting, we saw birthday children walking by, guests, and cast members leaving for home.... and that's when it happened.... a tall manager walking by with a blue dress shirt, very professional and a football build walked up to our bus stop and I just about cried

Me- "NO WAY"
Manager- "Ethan!?"
Me- *running towards him and jumping on him with the biggest bear hug ever*
Me- "NICK I CAN'T BELIVE THIS"
Nick-"*very professional* I missed you too Ethan!!"

Long story short, I found my old roommate from first program, Nick Downey. It's been 2 YEARS since I last saw him and what's he up to now? running a section of Downtown Disney since he graduated from school on a professional internship!

not only do I have to congratulate this awesome guy, but what were the chances of me stumbling on my old roommate who was the "dad" of our apartment my first time around??

But it doesn't end there, within the first couple days of photo/park adventures, I found my self being followed by a green army man who knew me and Flynn Ryder personally and lastly I was able to give Marry Poppins a hug after not seeing her for a whole year!

weirdest part about all of this? NONE of it was planned... I just stumbled upon all of them, and you know something?

"It's a small world" & I'm definitely okay with this! ;)

Here's a few from the shenanigans of my Disney College Program thus far!!

100th post and a new start

I REALLY need to get this daily blogging thing rolling. I have approximately 3 weeks now till I head out on the open road to florida and I have done zero preparation for this journey..... except download music and work..... my excuse is that I have summer school, but this is the last week of that so its now crunch time.

Caught up in the moment I finally got to hang out with michelle, not just once but TWICE AND got to hang out with Mr. Brian walsh and (as michelle calls him) "Nicky" for the first time outside of auditions for entertainment!

With all that being said, I was able to have two photo adventures with my camera. from the beach, navy pier and fireworks, to weird "small world" situations, and frozen yogurt we had a blast, but it was sadly the end of a journey with my best friend (before anyone freaks out, its my camera) my Nikon D7000.

Caught up in time, and tough decisions, and ideas that would pertain to my future career, I made a HUGE decision in my path, my journey and with that being said I had two final photo adventures with a friend who showed me a "whole new world" through a piece of glass and a little creativity.

But when one door closes, another one opens and I've been looking for this opened door for a long time now, and I finally feel as though I made the choice I've been wanting to for a long time, but until tomorrow, here's a few from the last adventure with an old friend.

Spring Awakening

*Note: the following post is a reflection on this past Saturday and Sundays Shenanigans *

Me- via text-"what do I wear!?!?!"
Ainsley-via text-"I don't care just hurry your ass up in the city!"

You see me and Ainsley have an interesting friendship that consisted of meeting on facebook because we're both doing the Disney College Program together! trouble is, she lives in Philadelphia.....

*two weeks prior to Spring awakening*

Me- "you should totally come to chicago and rage with me before we get down to florida!! its gonna be sick with the line up they have INSIDE SOLDIER FIELD"
Ainsley- "I totally would, just gotta see if I end up with enough money and get the days off of work"

*one week prior to Spring Awakening*

Ainsley-via text-"YOU NEED TO CALL ME ASAP"
ME- *calling* "what happened???"
Ainsley- "I Just won two VIP all access passes to Spring Awakening"
Me-"WHAT HOW!?!?! YOU LIVE IN PENNSYLVANIA!!!!!"
Ainsley- "It was from this radio show and I have some Southwest points saved up to use for a flight"
Me- "wowwww, talk about perfect timing and SMALL WORLD, I can't believe this is happening"

next thing I know, I find myself on my way to the city to meet with a girl I've never met in my life, planning on having a blast with our beautiful relationship and love for amazing music!

who do we plan to meet along the way? two other AWESOME College Program interns, Domi and Alyssa who happen to live in the chicago area as well!

After we FINALLY met, I feel like I've known the girl for years, we just clicked. we came together for a music fest and knew what we were getting ourselves into, but what we didn't know was the details of what was about to unfold.

Drinks after drinks after.... other things and TONS OF DANCING, we met with some awesome people along the way both from the past and present.

It truly is amazing how people can fade away over the years and with something as simple as a music festival, bring back old friends for a common love for music. Not only can that music bring back those friends, but meet new amazing people along the way and allow for MORE amazing memories/shenanigans in the years to come.

With that being said, thanks Ainsley, Mark, Heather (Gonzo), Christine (Lee), Kevin (Cam), Tania, Teresa, Kym, Tony, Domi, Alyssa, Candace and Molly for an EPIC two days of madness in the city with artist like A- Track, Afrojack, Arty, Benny Benassi, Carl Cox, Datisk, Dillon Francis, Diplo, Flux Pavilion, Wolfgang Gartner, Kill the Noise, Laidback Luke, NERVO, Skrillex, and Hardwell :')

CHEERS TO REUNITING FRIENDSHIPS AND BEGINNING NEW ONES!

p.s. next on the to do list is take pictures with EVERYONE, but here's a few from the weekend!

NOT MY PHOTO, but just an idea, of what unfolded ;) pure amazingness <3

DCP LOVES SPRING AWAKENING <3

Until next year, Northcoast is in the near future with some amazing people..... and in the horizon is something truly surreal in the spring of 2013..............

Deuces.
