Reality and Leaving it Behind

In the realm of reality we see "the world or the state of things as they actually exist, as opposed to an idealistic or notional idea of them" according to the dictionary definition, but it's something that's constantly looked over and taken for granted everyday. The harsh realities of the world with starvation, wars, inequalities, nuclear weapons, natural disasters and death is what's truly holding the world back from a future that we can strive from. Very few people realize this and for those of us who do not acknowledge it, tend to "go through the motions" of life whether it's to become "successful" as a loosely tossed word or simply work until retirement and start a family, but there's a select group of us who want more out of life. We strive for experiences and adventures to create new memories in the hopes of elimating all negativeness in the world to come together with Peace, love, Unity and Respect and taking responsibilites for our actions we over look from time to time.

So we choose to leave reality behind us, and celebrate life for what its brings us. we choose to cross the gates into a realm that's full of all those characterisitcs we choose to live on. Where the only worry in the world is "what stage do I go to next" or "what ride should I get in line for". A land that we loose sight of once we make the transition from childhood to adulthood.

The outside world claims that its "just a huge party" which I wont disagree with but it's more than that, its a celebration of life and the people we care most about, because we come from all parts of the world for this celebration and meeting new people with a common interest is what makes this environment so welcoming. we choose to leave reality because that's where we find the most peace and solitude from people who understand you and truly care for you.

The Electric Daisy Carnival is one of those few experiences that takes your adulthood worries away for those few hours where no bills, no taxes, no questioning where your gonna go with life, no school, no work, no hardships, no war..... just love and dancing, and respect for everyone who cares to unite with us under the Electric Sky.

I've met some of the best people in the world for this common interest and I can't help but urge everyone to experience this once in their life.... because once you do, you truly have a different perspective on life and all the positives you can get out of it.

Life is something everyone should truly cherish and celebrate everyday of your life and by attending an experience such as the Electric Daisy Carnival you can truly open yourself to all the possibilities life has instore for YOU

You never know what will happen when you cross the gate, but my family was fortunate enough to capture the memories from and unforgettable weekend.

As the Never Ending Story continues, I look forward to seeing you all again under the Electric Sky ^_^
