Ultra Music Festival

Spontaneity is one thing, but renting a car for a road trip to Miami for some music is....

Crazy.

So here's the run down: little ol' me was suppose to attend a 'little' Music Festival known as Ultra in Miami with some pretty awesome friends of mine.... long story short.

-time off work wasn't approved
-not enough money for tickets at the time
-tickets to the 2nd weekend sold out
-apocalypse occurred and we weren't able to all attend at the same time.

so what do my friends tell me to do?

"Ethan it's cool, just go with the people we were suppose to meet up with"

Me- "say what?"

needless to say I'm crazy enough to do this with two other friends Tim and Steph. We all agreed to meet up with some people we've never met in real life for a common love for music. risky? well the Movie Taken wasn't created in result to an episode of Sponge Bob Square Pants.

needless to say we were preparing for quite the adventure, but what did I come to learn? All it takes is one day, one instance, one "moment" to create a bond with people/ society that can make a memory worth the risk of going into the unknown.

hours turned into days, days into weeks, until I finally over came the post ULTRA depression... it's amazing how fast time can go by when your having fun, but I've never experienced such a fast moment like that. I refused to cope with it... the idea of leaving people I became so close with over three days that I refused to open the folder that held so many memories in such a short time.

But after getting yelled at (in a good way) that life is way to short to put yourself in the dumps if things don't go your way.

You have to keep moving forward and make the best of the short time we have. And that's when it clicked and I finally allowed myself to cope with it and accepting the end in more than one way. I realized that although one chapter of my life is coming to a close, another one just as exciting is just over the horizon.

thanks to everyone SO much who allowed me to join the EDM group. I truly can't WAIT for our next adventure together over the years to come!!

till then enjoy the memories! ^_^ #Plur
