New Fantasyland

When given an opportunity to be apart of something great, you cherish that moment, that instance, that time of your life with all your heart and you can't help but remember every detail of that point in your life forever.

I am honored to say that I was chosen to be apart of the grand opening ceremony of New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom :')

From the over night shift, meeting new friends and practicing with the mouse himself to holding banners and representing a royal couple, I was honored to be apart of the banner crew.

Belle and Beast, Rapunzel and Flynn, Ariel and Eric, Cinderella and Charming, Tiana and Naveen, Snow White and the Snow Prince, Aurora and Phillip were ALL apart of this amazing journey and I couldn't help but smile from ear to ear with excitement on how privileged I was to be apart of this landmark in Disney history :)

with that being said, and the... lack of sleep that was graciously accepted, here's a few photos from the the GRAND OPENING!!!

and on that note...

WELCOME TO NEW FANTASYLAND

The 111th Birthday

Like any other week of the college program, I find myself creating new memories with friends who are my family! The mess we get into is fun, memorable, embarrassing, and sometimes down right crazy, but what makes this week different from others is the birthday we got to celebrate on wednesday. Had it not been for this man, I would have never gotten into photography, made the jump to work for the Walt Disney Company, accomplished everything I've done the last few months and a lot of the memories I have created thus far would cease to exist and for that I thank you.... Walt.

Happy Birthday to the man who constantly reminded us that "it all started with a mouse" and at any age we are still children at heart.

Had it not been for this mans small idea that manifested into something great, we wouldn't have had moments like the "smolder" and the stolen tiara.

Two toys planning new adventures as green army men are on the look out for Andy.

and lastly.... Cinderellas castle. A castle that is so symbolic to what magic is and means to us.

Happy 111th Birthday Walt and thank you for everything : )

I hope to celebrate many more of your birthdays to come as I continue to create magic here at "The Happiest Place on Earth"

Santa Goofy and the character hunt

The christmas trees, the lights, the holiday music, the dancing and the Goof man himself can always bring happiness to any guests eyes during this time of year!

♩ ♪ "You better watch out
You better not cry
Better not pout
I'm telling you why
Santa....Goofy? is coming to town" ♩ ♪

Outside the holiday cheer is many characters to be sought out and luckily I was able to catch a fairy with all her pixie dust and a wee brave one during my adventures in the parks. from their charm and smiles to their interactions with guest, I couldn't help but find myself in a world of their own, but behind all the magic, is a cowboy and cowgirl duo that come up with all the shenanigans until ANDY SHOWS UP and causes a temporary stir ; )

And as the adventures continue, I find myself reaching new heights in this never ending story of

Magic. Fantasy. Life.

Happy Birthday Walt Disney!

I'm so looking forward to the big day tomorrow as Fantasyland reveals its GRAND OPENING, I know evangeline, ray, and walt are all looking down on this magical event.

Coincidence the opening is the day after Walt's Birthday? I think not!

smile for the camera, this is one for the Books ; )

The Disney College Program Formal...through pictures

Through out the Disney College Program many of us get stressed out, pissed off (to say the least), annoyed and worn out from working long hours and getting paid...... the internship pay, but when we are given the opportunity to get together and spend time with one another, we continue to share the memories of the past present and future.

The night of formal was full of shenanigans, dancing, and a few cocktails. Although Formal is a time where everyone can get together for a night of dancing, food, and disney characters, had it not been for my amazing roommates and friends it wouldn't have been nearly as amazing.

Lastly the formal is a sign of the College Program coming to an end, and with the last month of the program here, lets all continue the shenanigans together before the end

..... or is it just the beginning? ; )

I'm Thankful for....Electric Daisy Carnival

To create a memory is one thing, but to share that memory with some amazing friends can take that memory to a whole new level. a shared memory shows a strong relationship you have with someone during a time frame or event. On the Weekend of November 9 and 10 I took the plunge into a new adventure known as...

Electric Daisy Carnival

The Event was a 2 day Music Fest and carnival held in tinker field where the Citrus Bowl is held and it is also where I discovered a new passion for a genre of music that I was too naive to understand from simply listening to its moving beats...

“Trance music has a special effect on people. It unites them…it makes them ecstatic and has an almost religious effect. I want people to go home feeling good. I want them to become emotional and feel liberated.”
— Armin van Buuren ♪

I was touched and moved by its effect on the crowds of people and thats when I realized that not only do I love Trance music, but I also found my friendship with my friends growing stronger.

To experience the Electric Daisy Carnival is to experience life on a level where differences are set a side with the world and we unite for a common love for music.

I love my life, I love my music, I love my DCP family :)
